About & Background
My path into motion design started behind a camera, not a keyboard. Years directing short-form film taught me how a scene breathes — pacing, tension, release — and that lens now shapes every interface transition I build.
A background in cultural anthropology keeps the work grounded: before animating anything, I ask who it's for and what story the motion is actually telling. Technique without intent is just noise.
Today that combination — film, anthropology, and modern web technologies — lives in interactive sites, Rive-driven interfaces, and scroll-native storytelling for brands who want their web presence to move like a film, not a slideshow.
